Since 2007 ActNow Theatre has been producing award winning theatre, championing marginalised artists and their communities, and using art as a tool for social change across the arts industry, education, public and private sectors, and beyond.  

For our 20th anniversary we’re celebrating the significant and lasting impact of this legacy and the artists and communities who built it. 2027 is packed with community workshops, public events, creative developments, opportunities for artists, international collaborations and the premiere of our flagship work, Josh and Sophia Don’t Play Together Anymore. It’s a huge undertaking for our small team. With your help this AusArt Day, our 20th anniversary celebrations will go off: uplifting every artist and community that has made the last two decades of ActNow Theatre so special.
