Kiara Milera

Kiara Milera is an emerging Indigenous filmmaker from Adelaide and have credits for writing, directing and acting.

She began my career in 2015, writing for ABC's Black Comedy. Since then, she has been working with and supported by the South Australian Film Corporation and have received funding from initiatives to attend workshops and conferences.

She has also acted as a production assistant for the short film, Coming Home, and as director’s attachment for Warwick Thornton’s Sweet Country. Kiara has created and developed my own projects as well, including WILD (short film) and Same, Same. But Different (short documentary).

Her work has appeared in the Adelaide Film Festival and on National Indigenous Television (NITV).
