Lachlan Barnett

Since graduating from Flinders University Drama Centre in 2017, Lachy has had the pleasure of working with ActNow Theatre, Ladylike Theatre Collective, the State Theatre Company of South Australia, Very Mainstream Studio in Taipei, Andrew Kay & Associates and Windmill Theatre Company/Windmill Pictures. 

In 2019 Lachy toured Slingsby Theatre Company’s The Young King through NSW and Queensland and flew to Taipei with ActNow to collaborate on a new theatre piece exploring virtual intimacy. Lachy was also awarded the 2019 Neil Curnow award by the Helpmann Academy which he used to study with the Curious School of Puppetry in 2020. Later in 2020 Lachy was the queer consultant for State Theatre and ActNows online series Decameron 2.0 and then went on to puppeteer in the premier season of Bluey’s Big Play. Lachy will continue to tour this show around Australia throughout 2021.
