WEIYU Program

Designed and primarily facilitated by Michèle Saint-Yves as part of a collaborative cohort of existing AACC Practitioners

Do you want to become an Arts Access Coordinator/Consultant?

The WEIYU Program is designed to generate the next wave of Arts* Access Coordinators and Consultants (AACC) for SA through the knowledge transfer from and wisdom sharing by the current AACCs.

Led by Michèle Saint-Yves and leading AACC practitioners Jude Gaffney and Meg Riley, this program will take place across 2027, supported by ActNow Theatre.

Applications are now open, and must be submitted by 5pm (ACDT), Friday 30th October

If you are:

  • Either a practicing artist, creative and/or artsworker OR a person with disability advocacy and/or disability access experience in non-arts field/s

  • Identify as d/Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and/or live with chronic illness/disease/disabling conditions [DDNC]

  • Based in South Australia

  • Aged 18+

  • Available to undertake the program activities, outlined in the WEIYU Program Info Pack

Then you are invited to apply for the WEIYU Program!

Priority program applicants

We strongly encourage applications from people who identify as:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

  • Global Majority (Person of Colour)

  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse

  • Culturally and Racially Marginalised
