Maeve is a Kaurna Yerta based, Lutruwita born theatre artist and creative and cultural consultant.
The former Artistic Director of Loud Mouth Theatre Co. and the Tasmanian Theatre Company, they hold a Masters of Cultural Leadership and a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Acting) both from NIDA.
Maeve has worked extensively in a variety of roles across producing, teaching, marketing, development, operations, production and office management in theatre, circus, events, festivals, corporate arts, and local government.
Maeve threatened Leo Schofield (OAM) with a bogan flashmob once, and launched a community campaign to highlight the achievements of young Lutruwitian/Tasmanian artists after Schofield referred to the youth population of the island as “dregs, bogans (and) third generation morons”.
As a theatre artist Maeve has received Tasmanian Theatre Awards for Best Performance: Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph (dir. Ben Winspear for the Tasmanian Theatre Company) and as a director for Best Production: SHIT by Patricia Cornelius (for Loud Mouth Theatre Co.).
