About Jennifer Innes

Jennifer is a voice and dialect coach for film, television, theatre, and private clients. She lectures and is a PhD candidate at Flinders University. With a BA in English Literature and French, she trained in acting at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and later specialised in voice at the Victorian College of the Arts, where she also lectured. Jennifer has coached for Closer Productions, Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, State Opera SA, Sydney Theatre Company, and State Theatre Company South Australia. Her performance credits include Opera Australia, Theatreworks, State Theatre Company South Australia and Essential Theatre. A committed member of the global voice community, she is a former board member and current professional member of the Australian Voice Association (AVA), and is Regional Ambassador for the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA). She is actively engaged in voice research and development and holds memberships with MEAA, AVA, VASTA, AEU, and ASPAH
