Tyler (she/her) is a stage/production manager, producer, and lighting designer based on unceded Gadigal land. She was the Production and Operations Manager at Shopfront Arts from 2020 to 2025. She worked with the PaperJam Partners from 2021-2023, production managing: Blaque Showgirls, Jailbaby, Pony (Griffin); Dust (Milk Crate); Nothing (NtofP), A Practical Guide to Self Defence (NtofP/Merrigong).
She Staged Managed: Garden of Sound (VoxSteps/Sydney Festival), The Bridal Lament (CAAP/Riverside/Sydney Festival), The Lewis Trilogy (Griffin); Yoga Play (NTofP/La Boite); seven methods of killing kylie jenner - Malthouse (Darlinghurst/Greendoor); As Luck Would Have It, Trash Talk (Merrigong). Assistant Stage Manager credits include: Whitefella Yella Tree (Sydney Theatre Company/La Boite/UMAC)
Tyler received the STA for Best Lighting Design (Independent) for Moon Rabbit Rising at Belvoir 25a. Other lighting design credits include Notes on a Scandal (QTopia Pride Fest), I Want it That Gay (QTopia), Misery Loves Company (Legit Theatre); Porpoise Pool, Aurat Raj (Belvoir 25a).
In 2025, she toured the UK with Darby James and Quiet Riot for Little Squirt as the lighting realiser and stage manager.
With Lily Hayman, she runs Purple Tape Productions, founded in 2021 to champion female and gender diverse stories, and to create theatre that is not boring. Together, they have produced and designed works [YOUR NAME], Party Girl, Fledgling, Expiration Date, month-long festival (TAPE OVER) and toured to Adelaide and Edinburgh. Purple Tape presented werkaholics by Vivian Nguyen at Belvoir 25a in collaboration with Empty Seat Theatre and in 2026 will present Afterglow as part of Griffin’s 2026 Lookout Season and Straight Panic by Lachlan Parry at ATYP.
